Artist Statement
Everything around us is filled with movements when seen from the inside. I do not portray my art through the surface or the outside, I portray it from within, which is filled with life’s movements.I look at everything around with an eye of a mere child. I dive deep within through every layer and detail. I listen to this child with passion. I then apply the things I have heard and felt on the outer surface so that quiet and still images come to life.The human’s face on a Canvas (portrait) looks quiet and still when it is filled with thousands of thoughts and emotions. I grasp these emotions and turn them into lines, shapes, colors and interconnected symbols and I place them on the surface of the portrait which then looks alive and animated, revealing the endless possibilities on the inside.
